When it comes to K-pop legends, few names resonate as powerfully as BoA. 

The Queen of K-pop visited our sunny island of Singapore on the night of 30 November 2024 for the <BoA LIVE TOUR - BoA: One’s Own>.

<BoA LIVE TOUR - BoA: One’s Own in Singapore> served as a glowing testament to BoA's two-decade-long reign as one of the most influential and iconic figures in the industry.

Prior to the commencement of the show, dedicated JUMPING BoAs were seen excitedly streaming into The Star Theatre in their yellow outfits and lightsticks, displaying their pure adoration and support for their idol.

The concert started with an opening VCR that showed videos from BoA in her early days of her career. BoA made her grand entrance in a white coquette ruffle hem dress with a beaded details, opening the show with the melodious ‘No. 1’.

‘Atlantis Princess’ was next as the veteran artiste belted out the nostalgic tunes for her fans.

BoA’s vocals were flawless, effortlessly soaring through her anthems, with ‘Masayume Chasing’, ‘L.O.V.E’ and ‘Quincy’.

The next segment of the concert was filled with electrifying songs like ‘Hurricane Venus’ and ‘Shadow’. Paired with her energetic dance moves, BoA’s ability to transition seamlessly between powerful, emotive singing and high-energy tracks showcased her vocal range and mastery.

The audience’s energy was infectious, singing along to every lyric and waving light sticks that bathed the venue in a sea of yellow. 

During the encore, BoA took time to interact with her fans, taking adorable panda hats and plushies from fans, expressing heartfelt gratitude for their unwavering support.

By the end of the night, it was self-explanatory why BoA is hailed as a K-pop legend. Her dazzling stage presence that made the show so enjoyable.

Singapore was lucky to witness the brilliance of BoA, even after 24 years of her journey.

Fans who attended the Saturday session were treated to an unforgettable experience as Yeo Jin Goo not only interacted with them but also took the effort to learn and speak a few Malay phrases, much to the delight of the crowd. His cheerful pronunciation of phrases like “Maafkan saya" (I'm sorry), "Harga berapa" (how much is this), Selamat Hari Jadi (Happy Birthday) and “Sayang awak” (I love you) had the audience cheering and laughing, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere.

During the event, Yeo Jin Goo shared that he was thrilled to be visiting Malaysia for the first time. Expressing his curiosity about the local culture, he mentioned wanting to try iconic dishes like nasi lemak and roti tissue. Fans eagerly hoped he would get the chance to savor these beloved Malaysian delicacies.

Adding to the excitement, several lucky fans had the rare opportunity to play games and take photos with Yeo Jin Goo on stage, leaving them with memories they will treasure forever. His attentiveness and fan service were highlights of the session, further solidifying his place in fans’ hearts.

The ONE Astro Fan Fest wasn’t just about meeting Yeo Jin Goo—it offered a comprehensive Korean pop culture experience. Fans participated in engaging activities at themed booths, including a Running Man-inspired challenge and trivia games like Pictionary K-Edition, Guess the K-Drama, and K-Drama Super Fan. These activities kept visitors entertained and challenged their knowledge of Korean dramas and shows.

The day’s program was packed with performances and appearances by local stars from Astro Originals and popular series like Project; Exit, Curang Tanpa Niat, Rahsiamu Selamat Denganku, and the highly anticipated Kahar: Kapla High Council. Fans of Malaysian talent were delighted to see artists such as Mierul Aiman, Naim Daniel, Amir Ahnaf, Aedy Ashraf, and many others take the stage.

The ONE Astro Fan Fest successfully delivered an immersive experience, blending the best of Korean and Malaysian entertainment. It also collaborated with partners like Sunway University, Ogawa Malaysia, and JUICY Fresh Juice Bar to ensure a memorable event for fans.

As fans bid farewell to the weekend, many left with fond memories, prizes, and a deeper appreciation for the shared love of Korean entertainment. For those who attended, the highlight of Yeo Jin Goo’s first Malaysian visit will undoubtedly be cherished for years to come.

Since their last visit, DAY6 has risen to new heights, cementing their status as “Perfect All-Kill” artists with a string of hit songs and a rapidly growing global fanbase. The sold-out crowd was evidence of the group’s immense popularity, with tickets impossible to come by. Fans cherished the chance to see their idols live, whether for the first time or as returning concertgoers.

The show kicked off with "Best Part", instantly electrifying the atmosphere. As the drumbeats echoed through the venue, fans rose to their feet, dancing and cheering in unison. The energy soared as DAY6 followed up with "Better Better" and "Healer," reminding fans why they are the “healers” of their lives. During "Time of Our Life," a celebration of youthful memories, rainbow confetti filled the air, perfectly complementing the upbeat mood and the tour’s theme: Forever Young.

During the first ment session, the band expressed their excitement about being back in Singapore, and the fans’ energy showed the feeling was mutual.

The event began with a heartfelt video message from Mark Tuan, emphasizing the importance of self-care in building a fulfilling life. Fans were also treated to the premiere of Yukazan’s first TV commercial featuring Mark, which beautifully encapsulated the brand’s philosophy, "Your Everyday Self-Care."

The highlight of the event came when Mark took the stage to thunderous applause. He greeted fans warmly, shared updates on his music journey, and hinted at exciting projects. While addressing the question of which members he would like to create a unit with, Mark revealed his desire to form a unit with Jackson Wang and BamBam, affectionately known as the “AmeriThaiKong” trio. Although he mentioned challenges in coordinating schedules, he hinted at ongoing preparations for a GOT7 reunion, stirring excitement among IGOT7 fans.

Mark also shared updates on his solo music journey, admitting he’s exploring the right direction for his next album. “I’m not sure what genre or vibe I want to go with yet,” he confessed with a laugh, adding to the anticipation for his upcoming releases.

The energy soared during the interactive segment, where 15 lucky fans joined Mark on stage for games inspired by Yukazan’s products. The interactive games - including creative challenges putting on eye patches on the face with Yukazan’s latest innovative Bright Eye Patch, a fun self-care charade, and challenging game of filling up the bottle of Mark Tuan x Yukazan shower oil bottle. These memorable sessions brought fans closer to Mark, who showcased his warmth and lively spirit.
