In anticipation of the long-awaited second season of Squid Game launching on 26 December, Netflix Malaysia has partnered with MRT Corp for an immersive takeover in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. From today until 13 January 2025, the world of Squid Game has been brought to life at MRT Ampang Park Station (PY20).
Fans are invited to channel their inner Player 456 in a series of interactive elements and photo opportunities mirroring the show, but with less deadly consequences. Located at the concourse, they can recreate their own Squid Game experience from the infamous Player Registration Grid to the iconic Maze Staircase, and jump right into the middle of a brand new game with Gi-Hun and other participants. Malaysians can also show off their ddakji playing skills to win a special prize. Like the show, it ends with a ‘live’ voting counter, where fans can decide if they want to continue or not, under the watchful eyes of Pink Guards.From 20 to 22 December (at selected playtimes throughout the day), you can encounter the “Ddakji Man” on a recruitment drive at the concourse of MRT Ampang Park, challenging commuters to a game of ddakji.
