On a night that celebrated the best Korean content in the streaming world, Disney+ Hotstar won four awards at the annual Blue Dragon Series Awards (BSA) on July 19, including the coveted Best Drama Series for its Korean tentpole series Big Bet. In its second year, BSA is the first ever industry award in Korea that recognizes the best stories and talent across various streaming services. Big Bet, a crime action series with a strong fan base over two seasons starring the legendary actor Choi Minsik, won the Best Drama Series and Best Supporting Male Actor (Lee Donghwi). Earlier in May this year, South Korean actor Lee Jong-suk announced his 2023 ‘Dear, My With’ Fan Meeting Tour, kicking it off in July and continuing through to October across 11 Asian cities.
