Vincenzo tells the tale of a mafia consigliere working with an eccentric group of people to give an evil conglomerate a taste of its own medicine. Vincenzo Cassano’s greatest fanboy is arguably An Gi-seok (Lim Cheol-su). Even though Gi-seok’s the team leader of the Italian organized crime division in the International Security Intelligence Service, he’s endearingly not the most covert agent. While he entered Geumga Plaza with the intention of spying on Vincenzo, he’s now wholeheartedly on the lawyer’s side. From the amusing way An Gi-seok flashes his ID to his pure adoration for Vincenzo, he’s such a cute and entertaining character.

What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim — Bong Se-ra

What's Wrong With Secretary Kim is a rom-com about a vainglorious executive who struggles to accept his personal assistant’s decision to quit. Bong Se-ra (Hwang Bo-ra) also works for the vice-chairman and exudes a bubbly personality. Easily the most vivacious of her team, her extra-ness provides fun comic relief. From her red lipstick to her unabashed desire for romance, Bong Se-ra’s outlandish antics grow on you. While she is confident and considers herself to be very beautiful, she does have her insecurities. Furthermore, her cute love line with Secretary Yang has us rooting for another office couple.

Hwarang — Han-seong

Hwarang shows a group of elite young warriors find love and friendship in the Silla Kingdom. All of the warriors are handsome and very appealing, but Han-seong (Kim Tae-hyung) is definitely the most adorable. As the youngest warrior, he’s the most innocent and bright. Having a warm and friendly personality, Han-seong gets along well with everyone. He’s like a cute little puppy adored by the people around him. Full of curiosity, he looks up to his older brother warriors. He also has some heartbreaking family related burdens that belies his cheerful nature.

Moment of Eighteen — O Han-kyeol

Moment of Eighteen shows high school students experiencing youth and first love during their turbulent teenage years. Their teacher, O Han-kyeol (Kang Ki-young), is warm-hearted and adorably dorky. He can be awkward and embarrassing, but he’s so earnest and wants the best for his students. Definitely the kind of teacher we need more of in this world. He truly cares for each of his students and makes a difference in their lives by being fair and loving. The students deal with a variety of ordeals, but Han-kyeol doesn’t give up and sticks up for them. He’s a fun teacher who jokes around and makes his students feel comfortable.

Healer — Ms. Jo

Healer is an action romance drama that unites a journalist and a mysterious “courier” as a long-buried incident becomes uncovered. Ms. Jo (Kim Mee-kyung) is the courier’s partner and she’s not your typical ajumma. She’s a skilled hacker who can hack into any system with ease. Also an expert in knitting and making kimbap, she has a cheeky habit of interrupting the courier when he’s eating. On top of being a master hacker, she’s very witty and great at teasing her partner. While she says money is her priority, it’s obvious that she cares very much for her partner.

Oh My Ghost — Shin Soon-ae

Oh My Ghost centers on timid assistant chef Na Bong-sun who becomes possessed by a ghost. The ghost is Shin Soon-ae (Kim Seul-gi) and she’s a lustful virgin. Unable to remember her past life, Soon-ae believes that she’ll be able to move on in the afterlife after seducing a man. Soon-ae is boldly lascivious, sassy, and confident to boot. Thanks to Soon-ae’s resolve, Bong-sun is able to break out of her shell and surprise everyone around her. While Soon-ae has a hilariously one-track mind, she is a warm-hearted ghost and helps Bong-sun have the courage to pursue what she really wants.

Prison Playbook — Yoo Han-yang

Prison Playbook follows the story of a star pitcher who ends up in prison. His fellow prison mates are all unique and funny characters, but Han-yang (Lee Kyoo-hyung) is arguably the scene-stealer of the bunch. Also called Looney, Han-yang is serving time for being a repeat drug offender. He’s the son of wealthy business owners and haughtily makes many demands despite being in prison. He’s amusingly unaware and often says things that earn him a beating from his cellmates. His loony characteristics shine amidst all of the different inmates.

When you’re not in the mood for romance and fluff

Sweet romance and fun comedy movies are great and all, but sometimes we’re more in the mood for a bold nailbiter with a darker storyline. There’s a special appeal to dark and gritty movies because the stakes are higher and everything becomes that much more impactful. Whether there’s realistic action or a gripping revenge story, darker movies hit differently. Check out some movies that’ll satisfy below.

Night in Paradise tells the story of mobster Park Tae-gu (Um Tae-goo) who hides out in Jeju Island following a brutal tragedy. Having exacted revenge, Tae-gu now has a target on his back. At the island, he meets Jung Jae-yeon (Jeon Yeo-been) who is struggling with her own personal tragedies. Tae-gu’s adversaries continue to pursue him leading to gruesome consequences as night falls in paradise.

Forgotten focuses on Jin-seok (Kang Ha-neul) who witnesses his brother Yoo-seok (Kim Moo-yul) being abducted. Something feels off when Yoo-seok returns with no memory of the past 19 days, prompting Jin-seok to search for the truth behind the kidnapping. This thriller will keep you on your toes with its unpredictable twists and intriguing storyline. Full of suspense, you’ll be shocked as you piece the answers together.

The Drug King is inspired by the true story of an infamous drug lord in Korea in the 1970s. In the film, Lee Doo-sam (Song Kang-ho) is a smuggler who builds his empire and expands into illicit drug trafficking. As he enters the upper levels of drug dealing, he accumulates a lot of wealth in the process. However, with his rise also comes his eventual downfall when he becomes overcome with greed and addiction.

Friend is a classic Korean movie that is a cult favorite among many. Four boys who grew up as best friends begin to follow their separate paths. Joon-seok (Yu Oh-seong) develops an addiction but recovers as he mourns his father’s death. He then follows his father’s footsteps and becomes a crime lord. Meanwhile, Dong-su (Jang Dong-gun) becomes a mobster within a rival organization, creating a dangerous rivalry between the two friends.

Jo Pil-ho: The Dawning Rage follows corrupt cop Jo Pil-ho (Lee Sun-kyun) who is being investigated by internal affairs. He attempts to rob a police warehouse with his informant Gi-chul (Jung Ga-ram), but a suspicious explosion derails his plans. Pil-ho ends up searching for Gi-chul’s girlfriend Mi-na (Jeon So-nee) in order to unravel the conspiracy. As the truth unfolds, Pil-ho comes across opponents who are worse than him.

26 Years deals with the real-life massacre of innocent civilians in Gwangju in May 1980. The fictional story shows five ordinary people come together 26 years later to assassinate the man who orchestrated the massacre. A policeman, a gangster, an Olympic sharpshooter, a businessman, and a head of a private security firm make up the group seeking revenge. They work together to figure out a way to shoot the former president.

Time to Hunt is set in a miserable dystopian future where there is not much hope for a group of outlaw friends. They plot a heist in order to escape and enjoy life in paradise. While they pull off the heist, this attracts the attention of a vicious killer. The killer relishes the game of cat and mouse as he hunts them down. The combination of a casino heist and dangerous pursuit in a grim setting makes for a unique experience.

The Call shows the chilling aftermath when Seo-yeon (Park Shin-hye) and Young-sook (Jun Jong-seo) begin talking to each other through a phone. They are living in the same home, but are 20 years apart. Seo-yeon is in a precarious situation when Young-sook decides to put Seo-yeon’s life on the line in order to change her own fate. The chilling thriller will have you never looking at fire extinguishers the same way again.

Navillera is about 70-year-old Sim Deok-chul (Park In-hwan) and 23-year-old Lee Chae-rok (Song Kang) helping each other strive after their dreams. Entering the final chapter of his life, retired postman Deok-chul wants to learn ballet before it’s too late. He finds a teacher in Chae-rok who started ballet late compared to his peers and is struggling with harsh realities. Deok-chul’s enthusiasm for ballet reignites Chae-rok’s passion and they encourage each other’s dreams.

Do You Like Brahms? shows violin student Chae Song-ah (Park Eun-bin) experiencing difficulty finding her footing as she started later than her peers. Despite the fierce competition and discouraging comments from people around her, Song-ah continues to play violin because of her pure love for it. She learns that personal success should not be defined by other people’s expectations. Sometimes the journey of pursuing a dream is fulfilling in itself and can lead to other worthwhile adventures.

Fight for My Way centres on two long-time friends whose lives and careers aren’t working out the way they had hoped. Ko Dong-man (Park Seo-jun) is a former taekwondo champion who had to quit his dreams due to a painful incident. Choi Ae-ra (Kim Ji-won) aspires to become an announcer but is working as a department store employee in the meantime. While they don’t have super impressive resumes, these underdog friends encourage one another to not give up on their dreams.

Hello, Me! tells the story of Bahn Ha-ni (Choi Kang-hee) who leads a miserable life and feels unsuccessful. She has nothing to boast about in regards to her career, finances, love life, and basically everything at the age of 37. At the moment she’s ready to accept death, she’s greeted by her 17-year-old self. Being confronted by her spunky younger self, Ha-ni realizes she deserves more in life and makes positive changes. Even when you want to be done with life, there are more dreams and blessings for you to encounter

In Romance Is a Bonus Book, Kang Dan-i was a talented copywriter prior to getting married and raising her daughter. Unfortunately, life didn’t pan out the way she expected with her husband cheating on her and divorcing her. To add on salt to the wound, Dan-i is struggling to find a job and a home. Despite her difficult circumstances, Dan-i is resourceful and doesn’t give up on getting her career and life back on track. She’s a smart and diligent worker, and gradually gets recognized for her kindness and brilliant ideas.

Second 20s features Ha No-ra (Choi Ji-woo) who sacrificed her dreams upon becoming pregnant at the age of 19. Since then she has focused on being a good wife and mother. However, at 38 her life is turned upside down when her husband demands a divorce. She decides to finally live for herself and experience college for the first time. College life proves to be interesting with her son also entering as an incoming freshman, her husband starting to work at the same university, and her old high school friend being her professor.

Kkondae Intern’s Lee Man-sik (Kim Eung-soo) is hardly sympathetic in the beginning of the story as a condescending manager. However, he finds himself out of a job after losing his chance at a promotion. Man-sik is a smart and talented worker, and chooses not to give up despite his age not being appealing to employers. He’s not above starting from the bottom as an intern, determined to be a successful worker once again. In the process, he learns valuable lessons as he’s given a taste of his own medicine.

Get ready, because the Golden Arches are about to shine even brighter thanks to a new collaboration with 21st-century global pop icons, BTS.

This one-of-a-kind menu “tour” will arrive in Malaysia on 26 May, when customers can enjoy the band’s signature order at participating restaurants nationwide. The BTS Meal includes a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets®, medium World Famous Fries®, medium Coca-Cola, and Sweet Chili and Cajun dipping sauces inspired by popular recipes from McDonald’s South Korea.

“The band has great memories with McDonald’s. We’re excited about this collaboration and can’t wait to share the BTS Meal with the world,” says BIGHIT MUSIC, the label of BTS.

Since 2013, BTS has topped music charts and brought people together from all over the world through their music and positive messages. Over the next few months, BTS fans everywhere will find themselves that much closer to their favourite artists... because for the first time since McDonald’s launched its celebrity signature orders program in the U.S. last year, the BTS Meal will be available globally in nearly 50 countries. Don’t let the new series Law School fly under your radar! From talented actors to a unique premise and much mystery, Law School is an entertaining and intriguing series. A grim incident occurs at a prestigious university and shocks everyone. A tough law professor and his students learn about true justice and law as they seek the truth behind what happened. Check out some reasons why the series is sure to meet your expectations here.

Law schools are full of intelligent and gifted students, and the cast of Law School is no exception. You’ve probably seen these talented and promising actors before. Kim Beom recently impressed with his portrayal of mischievous Lee Rang in Tale of the Nine-Tailed. Ryu Hye-young received much love for her stoic but warm character in Reply 1988. We’ll get to see a different side of Lee Su-kyoung from her security team member character in Where Stars Land. Lee David will give off a completely different aura from his bullied character in Itaewon Class. Finally, we’ll get to see more of Sweet Home actress Go Youn-jung.

There are just as many respected veteran actors to look forward to as well! Kim Myung-min is known for his gravitas and moving portrayals of characters. Parasite actress Lee Jung-eun can pull off diverse characters and her Law School character will be distinctly different. Park Hyuk-kwon’s detailed acting will make you have decided feelings about his character. An Nae-sang will leave you with a lasting impression of his character. In addition, there are more skilled actors including Chung Won-joong, Kil Hae-yeon, Woo Hyun, and Oh Man-seok rounding out the solid veteran cast.

Law is not a genre new to K-dramas. Anyone else loving Vincenzo? However, law school specifically has not been broached in K-dramaland which means a refreshingly different premise. Through the series, we can get a glimpse of what law schools might look like in Korea. It’s the perfect setting where we see young minds and professors tackle justice, law, and real crimes. The series will discuss laws that affect all of us in our day-to-day lives and examine whether or not the law is truly just.

While law school is in session, an unexpected murder takes place at the university. The victim is Professor Seo Byung-ju (An Nae-sang) and everyone becomes a suspect. As the investigation ensues, the truth becomes uncovered as motives come to light. The students begin to delve into the case while studying. Will they be able to discover who the murderer is? Will the culprit be amongst them? The riveting mystery will have all of us sleuthing as we try to figure out who killed the professor.

There’s more to each character than meets the eyes. Some interesting facts include how the dynamics change as Yang Jong-hoon loses his revered professor status when he becomes a prime suspect. Han Joon-hwi (Kim Beom) enters school with top grades and appears to be perfect in every regard, but he has a hidden agenda. Similarly, Jeon Ye-seul (Go Youn-jung) seems to have it all and only applied to law school in order to spend more time with her boyfriend, but circumstances change drastically when she makes it and he doesn’t. There’s also Yu Seung-jae (Hyun Woo) who is an elite doctor who makes the unusual decision to enter law school despite being a successful doctor. So many curious characters, but we’ll find out more as the drama unfolds.
