It was definitely not an ordinary Saturday for CARATs as SEVENTEEN made an exciting visit at Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur on 16^th February for The SAEM x SEVENTEEN fan-sign event!

However, the fan-sign event was delayed for about few hours ahead, but the fans were still full of anticipation and energy to meet the boys! The MC of the day, Serena was being a great sport for keeping up the momentum as she entertained the crowd by handing out free passes and gifts for the fans to fill up the time.

The temperature soon went up when MC Serena asked the fans to sing along to 'THANKS', not long after that - the boys’ arrival shook the venue, leaving the fans screaming their names and waving their fan light-sticks! All prepped in white tops and washed-out jeans, SEVENTEEN made their way to the stage and politely greeted the whole crowd. 

After a short chat with the MC, Malaysian CARATs were lucky enough to celebrate DK and Vernon’s birthday! They were gifted with two huge cakes, other members and fans gleefully serenaded happy birthday to them! (Check out the video below!)

The huge amount of fans that have waited left the boys feeling overwhelmed; they were in awe as they saw the fans holding up banners and members’ names to show their dedication and love to them!

“Looking at the thousands of fans at the venue, it made us feel overwhelmed, we also want to thank you for supporting Seventeen, we love you all” said, Vernon.

S.Coups also highlighted that their schedule is pretty solid right now and they're preparing few activities for their fans, including their comeback! (CARATs, time to prepare yourselves!)

The event ended off to the fan-sign session, there were up to 150 lucky fans that were chosen to meet them up-close whilst getting their posters signed by them as well! (Are you one of them? We’re definitely envious of you!)

Don’t worry if you still missed them out, fingers-crossed that we will get to see them in Malaysia again soon! We really can’t wait to see what SEVENTEEN have prepared for us!

Although this was not the first time SEVENTEEN have visited Malaysia (as they were here for Diamond Edge 2017), it was still a meaningful night for over 5,000 CARATs as SEVENTEEN nailed it again with their unforgettable live performances and showered them with great fan service!

The show started off with a bang when SEVENTEEN entered the stage and performed their opening songs ‘Highlight’, ‘Thanks’ and ‘Flower’! CARATs were head over heels as the boys were suited in black sequin jackets, showing off their synchronized dance moves and charismatic gaze! (Check out the video below!)

Right after performing their opening songs, SEVENTEEN greeted the fans in Malay with “Apa Khabar!” (How Are You?) The members expressed their longing to see their fans, including Mingyu: “We missed you a lot and it is nice to see you all again!” The youngest member Dino also mentioned, “We can see that the fans filled up the stadium from our first show and up until now! We are so happy”. 

Not to forget, Hoshi accidentally introduced himself as “Princess Hoshi” instead of “Prince Hoshi”, which left the whole crowd bursted into laughter! (Aww how cute!)

The temperature got even higher when the boys were segregated into sub-units, including SVT Leaders, Hip-Hop Team, Vocal Team, and Performance Team! The crowd went wild as SVT Leaders – S.Coups, Hoshi, Woozi, performed their addictive groovy song called ‘Change Up’.  The Hip-Hop team, - Wonwoo, S.Coups, Mingyu and Vernon, set the stage on fire with hit songs, “Un Haeng Il Chi’ and ‘Check In’.

The Vocal Team that consists of Jeonghan, Joshua, Woozi, DK, and Seungkwan, toned down the show beautifully with their heart-wrenching tracks, ‘Habit’ and ‘Pinwheel’. Lastly, The Performance Team – Hoshi, Jun, The8, and Dino, hyped the crowd even more with their remixed version of ‘Swimming Fool’ and ‘Jam Jam’!

Moving on, SEVENTEEN also made a cool duet performance ‘Rocket’, where Joshua and Vernon charmed the crowd with their vocal and rapping skills! Other than that, SEVENTEEN resumed performing other songs such as, 'Pretty U' and 'Hello'!

One of the highlights of the night is when Dino and Seungkwan had a fiery freestyle rap and dance battle between each other! Leaving the SEVENTEEN members falling onto the ground and bursting into laughter because of their silly gestures! (We can't really choose the winner.. who do you pick CARATs? xD)

After pouring out their energy, SEVENTEEN also took some time to sit down and talked with the fans, expressing how thankful they are of the CARATs that have been supporting them ever since day 1. Joshua expressed: “We’re very thankful that you have sacrificed your time to see us, we are very blessed to have you guys as our fans”. DK: “I gained so much energy just from seeing your smiles, we hope to see you guys again soon!

Vernon: “The way I see you guys in this place, it’s like seeing stars in the sky, thank you for coming to see us.” Leader S.Coups asked: “Will you be there for us when we’re here next time?” (Of course we will!)

The boys ended off the show with their hit songs with ‘Campfire’, ‘Healing’, and ‘Very Nice’!
(They also performed their latest song 'Oh My!')

We love how the show highlighted each member’s different talents and their unique personalities! We’re pretty sure that CARATs felt the same way too! Fingers-crossed that they will come back here again real soon?
