With no conclusion to the rightful owner of the lottery ticket and prize money, each side enlisted the help of their own comrades to participate in the negotiation. An intense and hilarious confrontation between the North and South Korean soldiers begins as they battle out their wits to claim their 5.7 billion won dream! “6/45” generated more than USD$13.8M and close to 2M admissions in the Korean Box Office. Powered by excellent word-of-mouth reviews, it is the #1 hit comedy film of 2022 and is currently in the top 10 highest grossing box office films of 2022 to date. In Vietnam, “6/45” emerged as the highest-grossing South Korean film, setting a new record for South Korean film earnings in the country. The movie’s Indonesia theatrical release in mid-October also received rave reviews and is holding strong in box office rankings since its premiere despite competition from newly-debuted local films.
