Nine Puzzles follows Yoon Ena, a high school student whose life shatters when she discovers her murdered uncle’s body, beside a single, cryptic puzzle piece. Unable to recall how she ended up at the scene and unable to answer police questions, Ena becomes their prime suspect. A decade later, now a sharp-witted criminal profiler, Ena is thrust back into the shadows of her past when a chilling series of murders surfaces, each leaving behind a puzzle piece eerily similar to the one from her youth.

Joining Kim Dami and Son Sukku in this psychological rollercoaster are Kim Sungkyun (Moving, The Fiery Priest) as Police Captain Yang Jungho, and Hyun Bongsik (When Life Gives You Tangerines, Gangnam B-Side) as Junior Detective Choi San. The series is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Yoon Jongbin (Narco Saints, The Spy Gone North) and penned by Lee Eunmi (Tunnel, Navillera).

Nine Puzzles is part of Disney+ Hotstar’s ambitious 2025 Korean Original slate, which has already captivated audiences with Unmasked and Hyper Knife, the latter racing to become the most-viewed Korean premiere on the platform globally this year. The cast and crew of The Divorce Insurance gathered at a press conference in Seoul to give fans a sneak peek into their highly anticipated rom-com series. Director Lee Won-seok, alongside stars Lee Dong-wook, Lee Joo-been, Lee Kwang-soo, and Lee Da-hee, shared insights on the unique premise and characters that make this show stand out. The series revolves around Noh Ki-jun (Lee Dong-wook), a seasoned insurance expert who has been divorced three times and is now working on creating a divorce insurance product. The rom-com series promises to bring laughter, heartfelt moments, and a fresh take on relationships. The Divorce Insurance will be available on Prime Video starting March 31 in Malaysia and over 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Upcoming Korean rom-com series The Divorce Insurance dives into unprecedented waters with the premise of divorce insurance. The story focuses on a team setting out to create a divorce insurance product that can protect everyone’s future. Starring popular stars Lee Dong-wook, Lee Joo-been, Lee Kwang-soo and Lee Da-hee, the show tells the story of those who have been divorce and now are ready to discover love again. The new trailer for the show, dropping today, asks the question, “Is there an insurance policy to keep you happy for the rest of your life?”. The series follows the team’s creation of a divorce insurance product, designed to address one of the most pressing concerns of modern times—divorce. The trailer offers a sneak peek at the office rom-com set in an insurance company’s product development team, including the main character Ki-jun who is very passionate about creating a divorce insurance product.

Lee Dong-wook takes on the role of No Ki-jun, an insurance actuary at Plus Insurance’s innovative product development team. Having been married and divorced three separate times, Ki-jun is well-experienced when it comes to divorce. His familiarity with it has inspired him to create a divorce insurance product to help people like himself.

Lee Joo-been plays Kang Han-deul, an insurance underwriter who undergoes a transformation through her own divorce. Equipped with a quirky and cheerful personality, she joins Ki-jun’s divorce insurance development team, gradually gaining courage to move forward while navigating a new relationship with  Ki-jun.

Lee Kwang-soo portrays An Jeon-man, a risk surveyor who prioritizes safety above all else. Though he appears cool and composed on the outside, he is actually quite timid. As he navigates the challenges of developing divorce insurance, he embarks on the biggest adventure of his life.

Lee Da-hee transforms into Jeon Na-rae, a financial mathematician who views the world purely through an investment lens. Confident in all of her life decisions, she joins Ki-jun’s team as a special quantitative consultant. However, as time goes by, her perspective on life begins to change.

The Divorce Insurance will be streaming on Prime Video with subtitles in 26 languages and dubbing in 10 languages at launch. Fans in South Korea can catch the show on tvN with same-day airing. The Divorce Insurance is produced by KT Studio Genie, MongJakSo and Mondo Studio.
