Golden Village is thrilled to announce the exclusive screening of BAEKHYUN: LONSDALEITE [dot] IN CINEMAS, bringing the thrilling encore concert film of BAEKHYUN’s first solo Asia tour in 12 years to fans in Singapore from 27 November to 1 December. 

Suho’s highly anticipated solo concert, part of his 2024 Asia Tour, took over the Mega Star Arena on 28th July 2024 in a performance that left fans rapt and breathless. It had been a long wait since EXO’s last visit in 2019, during their EXO Planet #5 – EXplOration tour, but the wait proved to be well worth it.

The evening started with a bang as Suho, guitar in hand, launched into his hit single 'Mayday,' instantly setting a vibrant tone for the night. His engagement with the audience was palpable; during his ment, he expressed his deep affection for his Malaysian fans, singing “saya rinduuuuuuuu korang semua” and marveling at the energy of the crowd. The charismatic leader was visibly overwhelmed, even declaring that he needed to share the experience with his EXO members and vowed to return to Malaysia.

In a thrilling moment of spontaneity, Suho switched outfits mid-performance, triggering an uproarious response from the crowd. As fans went wild, he playfully tried to calm them down, showcasing his endearing connection with the audience.

The concert took a particularly heartfelt turn during Suho’s guitar solo rendition of ‘Decanting.’ Caught up in the fervor of the evening, he admitted to being so excited that he was mixing up the sequence of his setlist. The night was marked by an emotional highlight when Suho delivered an EXO medley, featuring ‘The First Snow,’ ‘Growl,’ ‘Overdose,’ and ‘Monster.’ As the crowd joined in on ‘The First Snow,’ Suho was visibly moved, even tearing up and urging the audience not to make him cry. His shout of “엑소 사랑하자” (Let’s love EXO) underscored his deep connection with his group and his fans.

The fun didn’t stop there. During his performance of ‘Alright Alright,’ Suho descended into the crowd, bringing himself closer to his devoted EXO-Ls. In a sweet touch of local pride, he changed the lyrics from “Hollywood” to “Malaysia” while waving the Malaysian flag, further endearing himself to the audience.

As the concert drew to a close, Suho’s encore was marked by a promise that resonated with fans. He pledged to share the night’s unforgettable experience with his EXO members and confirmed that he would return to Malaysia, whether solo or with EXO in the future.

PULP Live World proudly presents the 2024 SUHO CONCERT IN KUALA LUMPUR on July 28, 2024, at the Mega Star Arena. SUHO will give his fans the chance to experience the comforting feeling of home through his heartfelt music. This marks SUHO’s first solo concert tour, promising an unforgettable experience for fans as they witness his solo performances for the first time.

EXO-SC, comprising of Sehun and Chanyeol from EXO, popped by Singapore for their second stop as part of their “BACK TO BACK FANCON TOUR”! The boy group duo gave EXO-Ls a mid-week treat at The Star Theatre on 17 May 2023 with an array of games and performances.

Much to lucky fans and even media outlets’ delight, a press conference was held prior to the fancon. During a question where Sehun’s role in the drama “All That We Loved” was brought up, Chanyeol and Sehun exchanged a banter:

Host: “You donated a kidney to your friend in the drama! What would be the most generous thing you’d do for a friend?”

Sehun: “I’d do the same!”

Chanyeol: “Will you donate to me too?”

Sehun: “No…”

Chanyeol: “I don’t need it!”

The host also dropped a little snippet about how chill both members were during the soundcheck!

Much to EXO-L’s anticipation, the show finally started at 8pm, where fans filled the venue with the theme colour pink. Fan chants went loud and strong for EXO-SC’s first stage “What a life”, also from their first mini album!

SeChan then greeted fans with their first ment:

“You guys can understand us even without translation! Did you guys study Korean? Ah I know… it must be because of us,” Sehun teased.

The topic of food is not to be missed when in any new country – following up to the earlier press conference, Chanyeol once again spoke about his love for chilli crab:

“The moment we arrived in Singapore, we ordered chilli crab. When we reached our hotel, we ordered again.”

“He’s weird, he was really focused on the crab…” Sehun revealed.

“I can’t see anything else,” Chanyeol admitted to only having eyes for his favourite Singaporean dish.

The duo was also tested on their chemistry by having to choose the same answer throughout a series of questions. Unfortunately, they lost by getting three out of five questions wrong!

An example was them having to choose between having 5% battery on their phones but being able to use mobile data, or 100% battery but not able to use mobile data. Sehun chose the former, where witty Chanyeol then rebutted by saying he can only use his phone for a maximum of ten minutes. Hearing his groupmate’s answer, Sehun was at a loss for words and hilariously ended up apologizing.

They had to profess their love to each other as a forfeit, leading to an avalanche of laughter from the audience!

Unfortunately (or not 😉), the duo lost the game with 3 wrong - 2 correct and had to do a forfeit!

The Grand Wave K-pop Music Festival finally happened last weekend with the highly anticipated line-up at Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach. The festival was celebrated and partied by the warmest welcome and support from fans for each artiste! The artiste tease Malaysian fans for the crowd understanding of Korean, checking if they are really in Malaysia and are fans attending Malaysian! (well, Korean language is like a love language to show our support) Opening the festival was open by power vocal Park Bom of 2NE1 with 'Fire' that turn the cooling after rain weather hot! BLACKJACKs sweet treat continues with Park Bom performing her greatest hits. Park Bom sang '4:44' and 'Don't Cry' - another hit from 2NE1 that felt like a little trip down memory lane which we will always remember. Park Bom got off the stage to be closer to fans while singing 'You and I'. Park Bom was back on stage with 'Shamful' and ending with 'Do Re Mi Fa Sol'.

Next, GOT7 Youngjae appeared on stage opening with Vibin'. Malaysian Ahgase watched Youngjae as a solo artiste here for the very first time. Although it was night festival, Youngjae sure did bring sunshineine to the audience. His smile and jovial personality shone through all his stages. He performed Sugar which got our legs moving followed by Tasty which he removed his jacket! Youngjae had the sweetest smile and interaction also checking if he was really in Malaysia when fans could understand him without the translator.

Soon after, Pharynx (EXO's Lightstick) was lighted up filling the audience in cosmic latte colour calling for EXO CHEN! EXO-Ls scream was loud and clear. CHEN appears and serenades with 'Shall We?' and continuing with 'Beatiful Goodbye'.

Before the next song, CHEN said that he has 1 more song and sang his OST for It's Okay, That's Love, 'Best Luck (최고의 행운)'. SHAUN has picked up some Bahasa too which melted the hearts of many with his love expression. The audience was cheering on for him and requesting his next song to be 'Way Back Home' which he kept for later. He continued his set with 'Road' where audience sang along with, "Closed Ending' and 'Bad Habits' which audience knows the lyrics to too! And it's time for the crowd highly requested song 'Way Back Home' before he close his set with 'Don't Let Me Know'. As the night continues, it was time for one of Asia most popular female DJ, DJ Soda! It was party time with DJ Soda set remixing different genre of music including Blackpink's 'Pink Venom' with her teasing a bit of dance. And sang some of her songs like 'Shooting Star' and her latest 'Alice in Wonderland'

BI learn some Bahasa and express his love with 'Saya Cinta Kamu?' and mentioned he would love to come back to Malaysia again with his upcoming tour! (We are all waiting). He continued his performance with 'Keep Me Up', 'Lover'and ending it with 'Cosmos'. The finale and closing artiste of the night was Girls Generation Hyoyeon (DJ Hyo) that lit the audience pink and her charisma. Her set kick off with Girls Generation 'Forever 1' that got the audience wild!

Her 1 hour set was filled with nostalgic memories of songs that majority of the audience grew up listening like 'Conga' and current trending songs like 'As It Was'. As she spins and remix the songs as DJ, we got singer-dancer HYO performing 'Dessert' and 'Deep'! Hyoyeon interacted with audience in Korean, English and Mandarin! It was a cute moment when the music suddenly stopped for photo time! She requested the lights to be switch on for better photo lighting in Mandarin. Her cue for audience was 'SoShi (소시)' and Hyoyeon. Just before leaving the stage ending the night Hyoyeon thanked the fans in English and Mandarin and mentioned in Mandarin 以后见面吧，今天热死了 (yi hou jian mian ba, jin tian re si le) (Translation: See you night time, it's been a really hot day today) It was indeed an incredible night with amazing artiste line up!
