Ten top Korean hip-hop and R&B acts will be performing together in Jakarta next month at the first-ever NEVAEVA! FESTIVAL.

The exciting lineup in the inaugural festival includes a stellar cast of BÉBE YANA, Changmo, Crush, Dabin, Epik High, Giriboy, Heize, Kid Milli, Rovv, and Simon Dominic. NEVAEVA! FESTIVAL (NE!F) will be held on November 2, 2024, at Stadion Madya B in Jakarta, Indonesia. 

NE!F is branded as a worldwide tour music festival. This is a collaboration between Korean label and booking agency A MASS CULTURE, as well as The Roommate Entertainment and Pratama Pradana Pic from Indonesia.

NE!F is a revolutionary music festival that transcends borders, cultures, and languages to celebrate the unifying power of pop culture. Short for “Never Ever! Festival” (a.k.a. NEVAEVA! FESTIVAL), NE!F stands at the forefront of a cultural revolution, where the boundaries of music platforms are shattered, and diversity is celebrated.

From chart-topping hits to underground sensations, NE!F offers something for everyone expanding the horizons of music listeners and challenging the status quo. The vision is to create a platform where artists and audiences alike can come together, share their stories, and revel in the magic of live performances.

Tickets for NEVAEVA! FESTIVAL is tiered at Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels, and prices begin at IDR 899,000 (before government tax and admin fees). Fans interested in attending can purchase tickets from its official ticketing partner, Traveloka.

The High Skool (EPIK HIGH's fans) faithful packed the HGH Convention Centre on Friday night, 2nd of August 2024, for a highly anticipated return of the iconic Korean hip-hop trio, EPIK HIGH. It's been nearly two years since their last visit in December 2022 for the "Epik High Is Here Tour," and the excitement was palpable.

Before the show even started, fans were met with a surprising announcement: EPIK HIGH's official lightstick, Park Kyu Bong, was banned by PUSPAL due to its provocative symbol. Despite this, the energy and enthusiasm of the High Skool never waned. Their voices filled the air, proving that no lightstick could dim their passion.

EPIK HIGH kickstarted the night with a burst of new tracks from their latest album, "PUMP." The set opened with "PRETTY MUCH (INTRO)," followed by electrifying performances of "ANTIHERO". They also performed some of their latest tracks like "LATE CHECKOUT," "K-DRAMA," and "GROUP CHAT FREESTYLE."

The trio’s playful personalities shone through during their greetings. DJ Tukutz remixed his introduction to the tune of "Baby Shark," Tablo opted for a dramatic flair, and Mithra Jin went retro with a "YMCA" remix. Their quirky intros had the audience in stitches and set a lighthearted tone for the evening.

A standout moment came during "NO THANXX," where Tablo playfully let the crowd handle the explicit lyrics, feigning shock at their unfiltered enthusiasm. Throughout the concert, both Tablo and Mithra Jin made their way into the crowd, creating intimate moments during performances of "ROSARIO," "SCREENTIME," and "RAIN SONG."

One of the night's highlights was Tablo's impromptu interaction with a fan's phone. Noticing numerous text messages from “Daryl, Darren, or Dad,” he humorously advised the fan to check their messages, even posting the amusing exchange on his Instagram. This spontaneous interaction showcased the unique bond between EPIK HIGH and their fans.

Before diving into "SCREEN TIME," Tablo spoke highly of SEVENTEEN's HOSHI, whose vocals feature on the track. He praised HOSHI's looks and asked the fans to help sing his part. The fans didn't disappoint, effortlessly following along. However, during the second part of the chorus, EPIK HIGH intentionally cut the song short while the fans were still singing. Tablo laughed at the fans for continuing, then quickly transitioned into "RAIN SONG," adding a touch of their signature goofiness to the performance.

In a reflective moment, Tablo shared the inspiration behind their music, candidly admitting that their song "GROUP CHAT FREESTYLE" was penned for those obsessed with the band. He then launched into the raw lyrics, capturing the essence of their unfiltered artistic spirit.

EPIK HIGH also treated the crowd to nostalgic renditions of their classic hits, including "EYES NOSE LIPS", "LOVE LOVE LOVE," "ONE," and "FAN." Each song was a journey back in time, evoking cherished memories.

As the night drew to a close, the sentiment among the fans was unanimous: EPIK HIGH’s return was worth the wait, and they can't wait for the next chapter. 

Southeast Asian fans of the legendary South Korean hip-hop group, EPIK HIGH, marked 23 September 2023 on their calendars with eager anticipation. The reason? The highly awaited return of EPIK HIGH to Singapore and the one-and-only Southeast Asia stop of their Asia tour, named “EPIK HIGH All Time High In Singapore”. The concert took place at the Pasir Panjang Power Station, providing an evening of incomparable musical enchantment destined to remain in fans' hearts forever. The mood was softer during “All Day”, “Eyes Nose Lips” and “Rain Song”, however, the trio remained undeterred, continuing to soak the first several rows with water and reigniting the intensity of the performance with “Fan” and “One”. Whether it was their older hits or more recent hits, EPIK HIGH maintained an electrifying atmosphere at Pasir Panjang Power Station.

The trio is best known for thought provoking verses in their dynamic songs which cover social issues and mental health topics. Fans of EPIK HIGH, known as High Skool, will also remember the bittersweet moment in 2012 when members Mithra Jin and DJ Tukutz (DJ) finally completed their enlistment and returned to release the single “It’s Cold” (2012) with then up-and-coming singer Lee Hi, to chart success. It reached the peak position of number 1 on major South Korean music charts in real-time, thus achieving an ‘all-kill’ status ahead of the album release of “99” (2012). The trio also delivers phenomenal performances on stage, and the voracious demand to see them live has manifested in the form of invites for a myriad of prominent events, concert tours, and global music festivals. To date, EPIK HIGH has performed multiple sold-out tours in USA, Asia, North America, and Europe. Moreover, they have the honor of being the first Korean act to be invited to Coachella in 2016, and re-invited to Coachella in 2022 again. 

The veteran hip hop trio Epik High brings EPIK HIGH IS HERE Asia Pacific Tour 2022 in Kuala Lumpur on 2 December. Despite the wet weather on a Friday night, the fans were in high spirits at ZEPP KL.  

The trio opened the concert with 'Here' and 'Prequel' - the tracks from their latest album 'Epik High Is Here 下 (part 2)' followed by the classic chart-topper 'Fly'. After a brief opening ment where the group wittily introduced themselves pairing with the BGM, they resumed with hits like 'Face ID', 'Rosaria', 'Self Defense' and 'Burj Khalifa'. The first phase of the concert focused more on the tracks from its latest 'Epik High Is Here' album, where part 1 shows their struggles and thoughts, while part 2 mirrors a reflection of the past. Epik High has always been best at deeply emotional songs. "Tonight we gonna make you feel many emotions - express the worries, the frustration, the anger and the hate you have. We'll turn your low emotions into HIGH Tonight! We're here for you tonight," said Tablo.

Epik High continued with 'Super Rare', 'External Sunshine', 'Bleed', and 'Love Love Love'. One of the highlights of the show was DJ Tukutz's dancing time. The members shared some behind stories on why DJ Tukutz started to dance - "Tukutz has been wondering what he can do to differentiate himself from us (Tablo and Mithra)? And he found out that we can't dance. (Tablo then cue DJ Tukutz to show his break dance). The synergy between Tablo, Mithra and DJ Tukutiz is so natural and wholesome, and we love their constant teasing of one another.

Cheers continued with fans' favourites 'One' and 'Fan', where they pulled off a dance choreography, which Tablo dubbed 'the real K-pop dance'. The concert venue has become a proper rave party as they approached their last setlist, 'High Technology', 'New Beautiful' and 'Don't Hate Me'. The trio reemerge for an encore stage with 'No Thanxxx' and 'Born Hater'. The trio even gave their signed t-shirt to the fans, which made the crowd go frenzy.
