Stuck in a dark and mysterious neighborhood with no memory of how they got there, six strangers will have to piece together their forgotten pasts to escape in Light Shop - an eight-part supernatural mystery from the creator of Moving - premiering December 4 exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar.

An adaptation of Kangfull’s hit webtoon of the same name, Light Shop follows six strangers, each grappling with a traumatic event from their past. As they go about their daily lives, they slowly come to realize that something is very wrong - they just can’t figure out what. Desperate for answers and searching for a way back to normalcy, the strangers are drawn to a mysterious light shop at the end of a foreboding alleyway, which holds the key to their past, present and future. Full of mystery and intrigue, Light Shop promises to take viewers on an emotional adventure through its unique and heart wrenching premise.

Light Shop stars Ju Jihoon (Blood Free, Kingdom, The Spy Gone North) as Jung Wonyoung, the owner of the light shop; Park Boyoung, (Strong Girl Bong-soon, Oh My Ghost) as a nurse whose life was changed forever following a near death experience; Bae Seongwoo (Veteran, The King) as a detective; Lee Jungeun (Parasite) as distraught mother; and Kim Minha (Pachinko, Investigation Partners) as screenwriter Sunhae. The series is adapted for the screen by Kangfull (Moving) and is directed by Kim Hiewon.

The upcoming series will follow Bitna, a problematic judge known for dishing out light sentences to defendants. A secret handover between two of the most powerful nations in the world goes awry when the virus dubbed Tyrant is stolen from underneath their noses. Infuriated at his life’s work being taken, the lead scientist hires a group of mercenaries to get the Tyrant back.
