K-pop rising star Cha Eun Woo finally made his long-awaited appearance at his 1^st Fan Meeting [Just ONE 10 Minute] in KL at Menara PGRM on 27^th October 2019.

It was definitely a night full of great memories for both Cha Eun Woo and fans. The fans or known as “AROHAs” - showed their upmost support and love not only for him, but for ASTRO as well. At the same time, the fans also got to know more about the charming singer-actor Cha Eun Woo.

He kicked off the show performing an OST song called “Please Remember”, wearing a traditional hanbok, a reference to his character Prince Lee Rim in Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung. Over thousands of fans in the venue were immediately swoon over his soothing vocals.

After that, Cha Eun Woo changed to his school uniform for his first segment called “Challenge Cha-Pago” where his answers series of questions about him and his drama “Historian Goo Haeryung”. In one of the questions, he was asked to re-enact a line taken from a Netflix TV series, the crowd went wild and his simply laughed from seeing their cute reactions.

The emcee also asked him about how does he feel being in Malaysia without his ASTRO members, he said,

“It feels empty and lonely, but seeing so many AROHAs here have helped me to make me feel calm”

Then came the C.M.I segment, which stands for “Cha Eun Woo Much Information”, basically revealing more insight details about his everyday life.  The emcee asked what songs he’s listening to recently, he answered “I always listen to various of songs – but recently, I am listening to an old song called Pinocchio’s "Between Love and Friendship” - it helps to make me feel relaxed”

He was then asked what colour suits Malaysia the most? He said “Sky Blue, because it reminds me so much of the warm colour of the sky and Malaysia has a lot of tourist attractions.” The fans also responded with suggestions that he could visit while he was here.

After completing the C.M.I segment, Cha Eun Woo proceeded with performing his own version of Justin Bieber’s Love Yourself while playing the piano. Then the crowd went even louder as he sang a local song called, “Sampai Ke Hari Tua (Until We’re Old)” by Aizat Amdan! Fans’ were so surprised and amazed by his good pronunciation and stable vocals! In the next part of the event, the 3^rd segment was named “Mission Cha! Possible” where he had to play and win athletic games, including basketball and archery to give out gifts for the lucky fans. However, when he lost in the last round of the game, he was given bunny ears and gloves as a penalty. Being the sporting and charming prince Cha Eun Woo, he managed to win everyone’s hearts by dancing adorably!

Then followed by the last segment titled “Made By Cha Eun Woo”, Eunwoo sat down and decorated few special hand-made traditional Korean fans (also known as buchae) for the lucky draw winners. Meanwhile, he also chanted several Malay words to interact with fans, such as “Aku Cinta Padamu (I Love You)!, “Sayang (Love),  and Terima Kasih (Thank you)

As the fan-meeting was coming to an end, the emcee told him that the fans have prepared a special video for Cha Eun Woo which includes his pre-debut days, current acting works up to his moments with ASTRO members. He was so surprised to see the fans holding up the banners with warms messages for him as well.

Cha Eun Woo was smiling ever so brightly and expressed his gratitude to his fans that came to his fan meeting, he said,

“Thank you so much for coming today, after this when I go back to korea, i’ll promise to bring you good news and show various sides of me – as Astro and actor Cha Eun Woo”

After the speech, Cha Eun Woo thanked the fans by performing last few songs including “Rainbow Falling”, which is an OST from his famous drama My ID is Gangnam Beauty and an encore song “You And Me”.

As the fan meeting was over, lucky fans were also in for a treat as they got to meet Cha Eun Woo closer through hi-touch, group photo and fan-sign as well!

The “face-genius” left a truly great impression on his Malaysian fans as his thoughtfulness and sincerity radiated throughout the two-hour fan meeting. We hope that he will come back to Malaysia soon again and we can’t wait to see what Cha Eun Woo and ASTRO have in store for us in the future!
