Beep Beep! BTOB Reunites with Melody to Be Together at [3, 2, 1 GO! MELympic] in Kuala Lumpur!
Tuesday, April 22, 2025After 7 years apart, Malaysia Melody and BTOB reunite! On an afternoon filled with warmth, laughter, and unshakable nostalgia, Seo Eunkwang, Lee Minhyuk, Lim Hyunsik, and Peniel Shin returned to our shores for their fan-con tour, [3, 2, 1 Go! Melympic]. The wait was absolutely worth it!!
The fan-con was inspired by the Olympic spirit and staying true to the theme, BTOB made their grand entrance just like athletes at an opening ceremony, marching proudly through the crowd in sporty outfits. Melody cheered with excitement as Minhyuk, looking effortlessly handsome, led the way. Our sunshine leader Eunkwang came in beaming, followed by the ever-suave Hyunsik, and Peniel, who gave us that shy yet sweet smile we’ve missed so much.
As soon as they stepped on stage, the energy exploded. The members soaked up the cheers and gave it right back with their infectious joy. After years of hoping and countless fan requests, Malaysia Melody finally got our wish. And BTOB didn’t just show up. BTOB connected with Melody from the heart.
To make the fan meeting more unforgettable was when Eunkwang led the crowd singing “Saya Anak Malaysia” (I am a child of Malaysia). Our voices joined together with pride, unity, and love all wrapped in this 1 song with BTOB members. Pretty sure the crowd felt the members were part Malaysians too!
Each member greeted fans in their own heartfelt way, and it was clear how much they’ve grown not just as artists, but as people. Their effort to communicate in English (and even a little Bahasa!) melted hearts. Minhyuk shared how much he missed Malaysian Melody. Our BTOB Olympians are here at MELympic!!

Hyunsik greeted Melody with Bahasa and apologized for not being in his best vocal condition to which Melody reassured and promise to help sing his parts with all our might (which we didn’t have to, he was great!)
Eunkwang? Well, he couldn’t resist being his usual chaotic self yelling “Give up! Give up!” before hilariously introducing himself as “Give Up Man.”
And Peniel, ever the gentleman, promised it wouldn’t be another 7 years before they return. We’re holding you to that, Peniel. Juseyo~
The games segment was one for the books! The fan-con kicked off with Target Heart, Melody Attack, an archery-style game where Peniel came out on top and chose Hyunsik as his teammate.
That formed Team Adik (the “younger brothers”), while Eunkwang and Minhyuk became Team Abang (the “older brothers”).The playful competitiveness and teasing had us in stitches.
The Crazy Ping Pong Challenge? Team Adik clinched the win with a narrow 3-2 score. Then came Take My Love, Shot Put! where the boys launched signed balls into the crowd. Technically, they were supposed to throw them far, but Hyunsik, ever the softie, tossed his close to front-row fans. He was crowned the winner as he won our hearts so did the rest of them!
Even as the show reached its end, Melody weren’t ready to say goodbye. The encore chant had already begun before the members even left the stage. BTOB cheekily asked if Melody were trying to kick them out. Never! Melody just didn’t want it to end.
For Melody Ball Rolling, the members pick a flag each. The flag colour that matched the giant ball that will push through the crowd. Minhyuk, who hadn’t won a game yet, cheekily pleaded with Melody to help him out. How could Melody say no? With Melody help, Minhyuk finally tasted victory — and his happy run was everything.
As a “punishment” for scoring lowest, Peniel and Eunkwang had to do aegyo. Peniel chickened out midway after saying he’d copy Eunkwang... but we all knew he wouldn’t last! Eunkwang, BTOB’s certified aegyo king, had no problem showing off his cuteness. It was much a dismay and lots of teases from the other members.
After all the games and giggles, it was time for the real heart-thumping part — the performances.
Opening with Say Yes, BTOB took us on an emotional rollercoaster. Eunkwang, still recovering from ankle surgery, didn’t dance but stood tall with his powerhouse vocals. From old favourites to tracks from their latest album Love Today, every song was a love letter to Melody.
The moment they performed Starry Night, let’s just say… they didn’t need to do much to make hearts flutter.
The vibe then softened with touching ballads Heaven and Miss You, before turning the energy back up with classics like Only One for Me, Missing You, and Beep Beep. It was a perfect blend of tears, nostalgia, and joy.
Even as the show reached its end, Melody weren’t ready to say goodbye. The encore chant had already begun before the members even left the stage. BTOB cheekily asked if Melody were trying to kick them out. Never! Melody just didn’t want it to end.
For the encore, BTOB reappeared from within the crowd, performing Hi Beautiful while walking among fans. That closeness, that genuine connection, was what made this fan-con truly unforgettable.
They closed the night with Beautiful to Me, and that moment hit extra hard. It was the kind of bittersweet that lingers. The sadness of the time coming to an end, but the overwhelming sweetness of how completely they filled Melody long-missing hearts.
The 3 hour spend like 3 minutes. Yet every second was packed with love, laughter, and memories we'll treasure forever. The love they gave us… it filled every corner of the venue and every part of Melody hearts.
