Mnet is Coming to Selangor for Global Audition of BOYS II Planet

BOYS II PLANET, set to be aired in the second half of 2025, would be the world’s first-ever K-pop
global twin project to form two different debut groups for two different languages and regions.
Prepared by the same production team as the I-LAND series, Girls Planet 999: The Girls Saga, and
Boys Planet, the K-pop global twin project will consist of BOYS II PLANET K and BOYS II PLANET C,
which will be produced in Korean and Chinese, respectively.
For BOYS II PLANET C, the Chinese language program of the unprecedented twin project, on-site
auditions called “GLOBAL OPEN AUDITION” will take place as a way to better find promising talents
in-person in eight locations across Asia ━ Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore, Selangor, Taipei, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hong Kong. The “GLOBAL OPEN AUDITION” is expected to attract numerous
aspiring talents who have not been seen in other survival shows before, providing a direct pathway
for them to realize their dreams.
BOYS II PLANET has already garnered significant attention from K-pop fans and potential applicants
globally since its teaser video was shown at 2024 MAMA AWARDS in November. In reflection of
strong interests in the project, the number of applicants who applied for the first round of the
audition more than doubled from that of its preceding show BOYS PLANET, getting submissions from
more than 105 countries and regions.
The “ONLY ONE AUDITION” welcomes male born before January 1, 2012, regardless of their
