Fans in Malaysia were in for a treat last Sunday (1 December) as N.Flying brought their 2024 N.Flying LIVE 'HIDE-OUT' tour to Zepp Kuala Lumpur for the very first time, drawing a crowd of 1,600 passionate N.Fia. The concert marked the return of guitarist Cha Hun and bassist Seo Dong Sung after their military discharge, reuniting with leader Lee Seung Hyub and vocalist Yoo Hwe Seung. While drummer Jae Hyun remains on military duty, the band promised to return as a full five-member group, a heartfelt vow that moved fans.
As the concert progressed, N.Flying continued to captivate the audience with performances of "Flower Fantasy," "Love You Like That," "Good Bam," "Anyway," and "4242." Each song brought a fresh wave of excitement, with the atmosphere reaching a fever pitch during "Autumn Dream" and "Awesome." During the latter, leader Seung Hyub shared a memorable anecdote, revealing that he had spent nearly eight hours in the trainee room perfecting the rap line, “Pretty, sexy, cutie 한.” His dedication and flawless delivery earned roaring cheers from the crowd, leading to an impromptu encore of the track—a moment of pure joy and spontaneity.
The night kicked off with an electrifying set of "Flowerwork," "Video Therapy," and "Born to Be." Fans, dressed in striking red and black outfits, matched the band’s energy, creating a sea of color and excitement. The members, noticing the coordinated effort, playfully remarked, “Why didn’t you let us know so we could match too?” drawing laughter and setting a lighthearted tone. Adding a personal touch, N.Flying greeted their Malaysian fans in Malay, exclaiming, “Apa khabar sayang?” (Hello, loved ones), a warm gesture that ignited thunderous cheers from the crowd.
N.Flying thrilled fans with a setlist that featured "Star," the OST from the hit drama Lovely Runner, which has captured global attention. Leader Seung Hyub received widespread admiration for his role as Baek In-hyuk in the series, and the performance of the track brought the excitement of the drama to life. Vocalist Hwe Seung further showcased his talent with a heartfelt rendition of "I Think I Did," another Lovely Runner OST, leaving fans in awe of his emotive voice. The band also treated the audience to fan-favorite hits, including "Into You," "You," "Oh Really," "Blue Moon," "Rooftop," and "Flower Fantasy." A special highlight was when Seung Hyub localized the lyrics of "Oh Really" into Malay, singing "Oh Ya Ke" instead of the original Korean lyrics—a delightful touch that won the hearts of the crowd.
