Lovely Runner Star, Byeon Woo Seok, held a press conference prior to his sold-out fanmeeting Summer Letter in Singapore. The press conference took place on the morning before the fanmeeting, where the actor sat down with the media for a Q&A session.

The arrival of Byeon Woo Seok was as if a scene from a drama. Donning a black relaxed-tailored blazer that draped elegantly over his tall physique, the rising actor entered the venue with a smile that lit up the room—brightening our day amidst the sudden showers (no pun intended). The lovely actor carried a large paper bag, filled with mini yellow roses bouquets for the media! An extremely sweet and pleasant surprise gift to receive at a press conference which melted our hearts.

The actor sat down for a Q&A session, answering questions about the career and his time here in Singapore.

Byeon Woo Seok: I slept really well! I'm happy to be here to meet the members of the media here in Singapore.

When asked how he felt about meeting Singapore fans for the first time, the thoughtful actor answered that he came to Singapore with one goal— to enjoy & have a good time! He is well-aware of his fans’ hearts and know fans spent a lot of their time and resources to be here with him today, so he does not want to waste that. 

Our local delicacies could not be missed out! Byeon Woo Seok also shared that he has plans to try two dishes even before coming to Singapore— Chili Crab and Chicken Rice! Checking Chili Crab from the list as Byeon Woo-seok managed to enjoy a dish of chili crab after his fanmeeting last night!

Moreover, Byeon Woo Seok also shared that he has a friend living in Singapore, who very helpfully provided him a long list of delicacies that Singapore is famous for and he looks forward to indulging in as many of these dishes as possible!

Health is priority! Byeon Woo Seok revealed that one must-have travel item with him would be his medication. Allergy medicine and Theraflu are handy for him, which he pops whenever he feels like he’s going to get a cold.

We were fortunate that the actor also responded to our question regarding his approach to emotional scenes in his shows. The experienced actor shared that he focuses intensely on understanding his character's emotions by putting himself in their place, allowing him to immerse himself more deeply in the role. We love a hard-working actor!

The stylish actor also expressed his commitment to delivering top-notch performances, promising to give his all in every role to maintain his esteemed title as a Rom-com genius! 

Lastly, Byeon Woo Seok also conveyed that his most memorable role was Poong Woon-ho in Netflix’s 20th Century Girl! The role allowed him to overcome several personal challenges which he faced and he felt grateful that he was able to overcome them through the role.
