In the winter of 1971 at Sokcho Airport, pilots Tae-in (Ha Jung Woo) and Gyu-sik (Sung Dong Il) prepare for a routine flight to Gimpo. Under the guidance of flight attendant Ok-soon (Chae Soo Bin), passengers board the plane. However, shortly after takeoff, a homemade bomb detonates, plunging the cabin into chaos. Yong-dae (Yeo Jin Goo) hijacks the plane, commanding the pilots to reroute to North Korea. The explosion blinds Gyu-sik in one eye, and in the ensuing turmoil, Tae-in must navigate a life-or-death struggle to land the aircraft safely.
