Former LEDApple, Hanbyul Wins Big Stage 2019

Hanbyul, the former lead vocalist of LEDApple took the spotlight yesterday night as he crowned as the winner of Astro's singing competition 'Big Stage 2019' with a total score of 70.33%. Malaysia's Neeta Manisha ranked second with 68.66%, while local singer Adzrin ranked third with 61.99%.
At the final stage, Hanbyul showcased his own rendition of Eminem's Lose Yourself and his latest single ballad track titled 'Luka dan Bahagia' composed by Haqiem Rusli. The performances had received great applause from the audiences and had guest judge Misha Omar commented "You are not from Malaysia but you sing like you're really fluent in Bahasa Melayu. You have inspired me to work harder and you made me believe that nothing is impossible, that maybe I should start learning to sing Korean songs."
His stellar performances at Big Stage 2019 had led him in receiving the winning title of the competition. The star walked home with a trophy, cash prize worth RM100,000, a Perodua Axia Style and one Vivo V17 Pro.
During the winning speech, Hanbyul thanked his parents, the staffs and fans who have been supporting him throughout the competition. "My fans have been supporting me for a long time. Thank you so much. I love you. Sayangi Twinklers. I would like to thank all Malaysian for giving me this opportunity as well. Thank you so much. Sayangi Malaysia," he said.
Throughout the 8-weeks long competition, the star delivered a diverse performance and impressed us with his powerful vocal. Big Stage 2019 marks season two of the singing competition and unlike the previous season, this time the singing competition featured singers from overseas which included contestants from South Korea, Indonesia, Brunei and Thailand.
