With unique story lines that pique curiosity and interest, this month’s line-up on Viu will bring you on a journey beyond reality! Take a break from everyday tasks and indulge in the highly anticipated Melting Me Softly, starring the ever-dashing Ji Chang Wook, who is making his glorious return from his military stint. Fantasy (SF9 Fandom) can look forward to SF9 Rowoon’s first leading role in Extra- ordinary You, who plays “No. 13”, an initially nameless extra, in a mystical series based on a popular webtoon.

Imagine being frozen in time for 20 years and waking to a world where everything you once knew has changed. Melting Me Softly tells the story of Ma Dong Chan (starring Ji Chang Wook), who along with Go Mi Ran (starring Won Jin Ah), agrees to be frozen for 24 hours for a project which took a turn for the worst, leaving them to only wake up 20 years later. They learn that they must maintain a core body temperature of 31.5 degrees Celsius to survive. They find themselves in a difficult situation when things get heated up and sparks start to fly. Melting Me Softly is Ji Chang Wook’s comeback drama after his military stint and we’re excited to see his face on the small screens again!

Based on a popular webtoon, Extra-ordinary You tells the story of students who realise they are characters in a comic and attempt to go against its storyline. Kim Hye Yoon stars as Eun Dan Oh, a 17-year-old high- school student from a wealthy family, who experiences long gaps in her memory. She realises that she plays a supporting character in a Korean webtoon and is determined to change her life by thwarting the author’s plans for her by utilising flashes of the storyboard which only she can see. Playing opposite her is K-pop idol, SF9’s Rowoon in his first leading role. Fans can look forward to the sparks that fly between the two!
