On 15 August 2019, Kang Daniel held a press conference to kick off the first stop of his tour.  Exclusively because Singapore was the first stop of Kang Daniel's Color On Me' solo fan meeting tour.

The press conference commenced with Kang Daniel expressing that he was extremely excited to meet everyone with his first album, conveying his utmost sincerity and love for his fans. The star also mentioned that he was well-rested, and he was very touched to be received by so many fans at the airport last night.

When mentioned about the viral video of the idol posing for a fan’s front-camera recording, Kang Daniel definitely saw the video online and explained how he simply wanted to give fans the best experience by greeting everyone at the airport, despite the late hour. What a sweet thought!

Ranking 1st place on the finale of Produce 101 Season 2, Mnet’s survival reality show, and being the center of former boy-group, Wanna One, Kang Daniel certainly misses his members and feels some pressure from having to fill up the stage alone.

Kang Daniel proceeded to give each of his songs a colour. For "Intro (Through The Night)", he chose pink as the song was passionate but not overpowering, so he went for pink instead of red. For "Colour", he chose rainbow as he wanted to show fans the many colours from himself. For What Are You Up To, he picked sky blue; Horizon, he picked black; I Hope, he picked yellow. Lastly, Kang Daniel picked black for himself as he likes the colour and believes that ultimately, all colours would come together and eventually turn black. He also wished that fans would turn up for his fan meeting in pink the next day!

As Busan’s ambassador, Kang Daniel recommended in English to visit Haeundae Beach and eat a lot of tasty food if they were to visit Busan. He also said that he enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and cats on his off days and driving in the night with great music.

Coming to Singapore once again, Kang Daniel mentioned that he would love to roam around Singapore and try our local delicacies this time round as he was unable to do so due to a tight schedule previously. When challenged to try the durian, Kang Daniel gladly agrees, exciting fans to find out if he would enjoy it at his fan meeting.

Leaving everyone with exhilaration, Kang Daniel promised to show his full energy at his fan meeting the next day, concluding the press conference on a happy note.
