Thousands of fans welcomed Super Junior's Choi Siwon with tremendous cheers as he entered Sunway Pyramid last Saturday (29 June) to launch Kiehl's Made Better in Malaysia. Siwon displayed his love for the fans throughout the event by communicating in English and approached the fans to take selfie.

The event began with an opening address by Siwon "Apa Khabar. Hello Everyone. Saya Siwon Choi. It's glad to see you again and thank you for welcoming me this time." To reinforce Kiehl’s Made Better campaign, Siwon shared his personal stories undertaking recycling, efforts and advice on making the world a greener and healthier place. ”I believe in two things: Mission & Responsibility. Protect our planet for the future of our next generation”, said Siwon. When being asked what's his favourite skin care product, Siwon then commented "Calendula & Aloe Soothing Hydration Mask is my favourite."

Following the Q&A session, Siwon joined Malek Beckdache, L’Oréal Malaysia Managing Director, Jennie Ma, General Manager of L’Oréal Luxe, Yvonne Liew, Deputy General Manager of L’Oréal Luxe and HC Chan, CEO of Sunway Malls & Themeparks to officiate the Made Better campaign in Malaysia. Each received a pot and spade to pour earth onto the Made Better greens as a symbol of our dedication towards a sustainable future to combat climate change.

The event continued with Siwon exploring Kiehl's unique Nature's Playground stations which include "Tree of Life", "PSLRC Orange Bus Slide", "Calenduland" and "Made Better station". Starting off with "Tree of Life", Siwon picked 4 Kiehl's empty bottles from the tree to be deposited in the Recycle & Be Rewarded bin located at the Made Better station. This brings to light Kiehl’s Recycle and Be Rewarded programme which encourages customers to do their part by bringing back their empties to any stores. In turn, customers receive complimentary gifts for every four bottles they recycle.

Before making his way to the next station, Siwon slowed down to have eye-contact with the fans and also, approached the crowd to take wefie. Siwon’s Nature’s Playground discovery continued to the PSLRC Orange Bus Slide for a photo stop. The orange elements at the bus highlights Kiehl’s customer’s favorite serum - Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate formulated with 12.5% of stabilized Vitamin C.

Further down to Calenduland, this station is inspired by Kiehl's worldwide best-selling toner – Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol Free Toner, and is the #1 customer favorite in Malaysia. Be sure to strike a pose at this stunning tunnel filled with Calendula flowers.

Meet and greet session came right after, which 10 lucky fans were selected on stage to receive a RM500 Kiehl's Calendula gift set and have a group photo with Siwon. Before giving them the gift set, Siwon politely asked each fans "Can I handshake?", "Can I hug?", which had the crowd melting in jealously. 

During the Media Q&A session, Siwon remarked his wish to collaborate with Dato' Michelle Yeoh as they have the same manager in the States and he added to bring Super Junior members along next time for Super Show 8.
