Vibrant anticipation filled the air at Gurney Plaza today. Beauty enthusiasts and innisfree fans turned up in droves to celebrate the arrival of innisfree—Korea’s No. 1 Natural Beauty Brand—on Penang’s shores, marking innisfree’s first foray in the state.

This grand opening also marked their tenth store in Malaysia and second outside the Klang Valley, and was greeted with much fanfare. With innisfree’s reputation for all-natural skincare and makeup products—sourced from the pristine island of Jeju, South Korea—Penangite inni-friends have been clamouring for an outlet in the state, and innisfree, ever-committed to their inni-friends, has been looking for every opportunity to bring Jeju Island closer to them.

15 lucky contest winners and their partners, together with invited guests were amongst fortunate ones who were given the privilege to be the first to experience the new store before it was officially open to the public. 

Loyal fans were seen in line, outside the store, as early as 9.30am, which entitled them to receive an early bird gift from innisfree. In celebration of the new store opening, shoppers were offered with exclusive deals and chance to win additional gifts from the event with purchase. 

innisfree launched its first store in Malaysia on 5th December 2014 in Sunway Pyramid and has been immensely popular among Malaysians since then, through its effort to promote an eco-friendly lifestyle and as a provider of all-natural beauty products from Jeju Island.
